I think this is a neat trick. Prior to this, I was manually deleting each alarm one line at a time. And boy that was laborious.
With this technique, you can delete all the Alarms in the Rockwell FactoryTalk View application in one go! This method works for both ME and SE version of the Rockwell FactoryTalk View.

You will have to create an empty XML export / import alarm file with the correct format as per Rockwell FactoryTalk View.
