Remove inhibit IO module from Rockwell PLC… we do that all the time in test bench and you better know it as well.

Under normal circumstances in a test bench, you do not have the luxury of owning all the various combination of IO Module that a project requires but still you want to be able to create a “LOCAL” variable so that you can write you program. If you configure the IO Module in your Studio 5000 and upload it to your test PLC, the CPU will issue a major fault and will halt the execution of the logic. Not a good scenario for testing.
With all that being said, there is a function in the IO Module where you can temporarily Inhibit the Module. In this video, I will demonstration where you can go to inhibit and remove inhibit from the IO Module.
