TechTalk – Moxa MB3170 : Config Access Locking And Unlocking

Moxa MB3170 allows end user to pasowrd protect the device such that only authorized users can access the Moxa MB3170 configuration section. This YouTube video demonstrates how to lock the configuration screens, access locked configuration section, and how to remove the lock function.

Note that, adding this locking feature will cause the Moxa MB3170 to restart/power cycle, hence interrupting the communcation.

This unlocking password also applies to the web tool of Moxa MB3170, which is access via enter the IP address of the Moxa on the web browser URL address.
