Connect laptop to two or more SCADAPack via USB is not enabled by default. If you try to connect to multiple SCADAPack using a single USB, you will get an error message “A connection could not be established. Multiple controllers were detected.”.

For Ethernet connection, you can easily go online with two or more SCADAPack because Ethernet allow asynchronous communication via the RJ45 jack. This is true for all vintages of SCADAPacks; SCADAPack 350, SCADAPack 357, etc.

However, USB by design does not offer an asynchronous communication capabilities.

But if you specific Controller ID in the Modbus/USB Configuration popup menu, you will be able to connect to multiple SCADAPack at one time. You can specify the Controller ID from the Configuration Settings button (as shown below).
